On December 21, 2017, Adam Morez posted this about the TV movie with Paul McGann in one of the Facebook pages about 'Doctor Who':
Ok so just watched this for the very first time and the only question I have that I don’t think has been addressed in the now newer series is...So the Doctor is half human???
Every new incarnation of the Doctor has new quirks and that happened to be one of the Eighth Incarnation's quirks: he would say anything to charm his way into a female's pants. (Probably why the 9th and 10th Incarnations kept shutting down Captain Jack's attempts to do the same; they were embarrassed by their own past behavior.)
I don't count audio plays and tie-in novels as being part of the lives of the Doctor's Incarnations in Toobworld. They have their own Doctor in the Audioverse and BookWorld, respectively. If the stories are interesting enough and have no impact on Earth Prime-Time, then I might consider them as part of the Doctor's background. For instance, I like the idea that he traveled with Mary Shelley and would love to have seen that played out on the Toob. (See a list of his Companions here.)
But before "Night of the Doctor", we were left with the Eighth Incarnation making that claim about being half-human and giving Dr. Grace Holloway a big smack on the lips. I'm thinking he tried to Weinstein all of his future companions.
Unlike Harvey, however, I'm certain the Eighth Incarnation knew that "No" meant No.
