VIDEO SUNDAY - MY FAVORITE MARTIAN (1ST EPISODE)

In 2001, the Martian named Exigius 12½ - known on Earth by the alias "Martin O'Hara" was planned to be the only induction for the month of October because of Orson Welles' broadcast of 'The War of the Worlds'.  Then I figured the televersion of Welles should also be included as a multiversal.  And there wouldn't have been any reason for such a tribute to one of the greatest cultural impacts in our country had it not been for the original story by HG Welles.

And I don't know how Leonardo Da Vinci also got swept up in all this, but we inducted him as well that month.  It could be that after the events of 9/11 that year, I have this vague memory that the way the world was going then maybe I had to start inducting as many as possible while I could.

So that October, our inductees were Exigius 12½, H.G. Wells, Leonardo DaVinci and the televersion of Orson Welles.

For this Video Sunday, we're showcasing "Uncle Martin" in his first appearance in Toobworld - at least as seen by the viewers of the Trueniverse.
