'30 Rock' added a couple more TV shows to the TV on TV lineup for
Toobworld. One is 'God Cop' where God helps a police detective to solve crimes.
(But where's the mystery when your partner is omniscient?)
The other is a game show called 'Homonyms' where the host supplies the word
and the contestant has to supply the meaning. But which version of the word did
the host mean? (Scent/sent, meat/meet, au pair/Oh! Pear!, etc.....)
No matter what the contestant chooses, it always seems to be the other
one.
While flipping around the dial yesterday, I hit upon 'The Goldbergs' on
JLTV. Molly Goldberg appeared on a TV game show called 'Reach For The Moon',
and it looked every bit as archaic as the show that spawned it.
