HENRY, KING OF HEARTS

In the "Celestial Toymaker" storyline of 'Doctor Who', the King of Hearts was sometimes addressed as "Henry".  As Henry was a pawn of the Toymaker, he may have been an abducted human from Earth Prime-Time.  Looking through the credits of Campbell Singer, who played the King of Hearts, he had two other characters he played on TV named Henry:

- Episode dated 7 December 1967 (1967) ... Henry Burroughs

Even though both appearances were broadcast after the 'Doctor Who', either one of these two characters could have been the Henry who became the King of Hearts.  The Toymaker is believed to have been a Time Lord, so he could have kidnapped his pawns at any point in Earth's history.

KEEP ON TREKKIN'! THE SONIC DRIVER

With our previous entry, Tom called the futuristic hypodermic a sonic screwdriver but he was making a reference to what he thought was a fictional TV show.

Here, however, Commander Riker's sonic driver is probably tech developed by Starfleet from a previous encounter with the Doctor.

Apparently there is an in-joke sighting of the TARDIS in the shuttle bay on board the Enterprise in an episode of 'Star Trek: The Next Generation'.  It would be an "As Unseen On TV" adventure in which the Doctor teamed up with Captain Picard's crew, invoking the Khan-Chekov Principle.

Starfleet must have gained access to another sonic screwdriver to build their own model.  We know it can't be the Doctor's because he has had the same one for over 500 years.  It just keeps changing its design with each new incarnation of the TARDIS interior.  (This was confirmed in the 50th anniversary special "The Day Of The Doctor".  The Doctor's screwdriver had been running a program to analyze the molecular structure of the wooden door of the prison in which three of his incarnations were being held.)

As you can hear in the clip above, Riker refers to it as a sonic driver.  Probably because the term screwdriver is so archaic as a reference to the tool.

So in this case, the reference does add to the validity of 'Doctor Who' sharing the same TV dimension as 'Star Trek: The Next Generation'.

SONIC SCREWDRIVER, "WOLFBLOOD" EDITION

First off, a big thanks to Caeric ArcLight for not only sharing this screencap, but also for introducing me to the TV series 'Wolfblood' which became my next Netflix marathon once I saw this episode.....

Within the reality of Toobworld, there is a TV show about the Doctor (funded by a shadowy organization I call "UNREEL" which uses it to provide plausible deniability for the Doctor's activities so that there wouldn't be widespread panic.)

A lot of it follows the events in the Doctor's life, and so that would include not only a TARDIS but also a sonic screwdriver. 

When Tom Okonawe called the futuristic hypodermic a sonic screwdriver in describing what happened to him, he was using a pop culture reference as short-hand.  It wasn't a real sonic screwdriver, but his friends Shannon Kelly and Maddy Smith would understand that it was futuristic.

LOCATION SHOT - GALAVANT OF MONDAS

When I saw the "Camelot"/"Dungeons & Dragons" musical comedy spoof 'Galavant' last January, I thought the mini-series would fit into the dimension of Doofus Toobworld along with. 'When Things Were Rotten' and 'That's my Bush!'

But there was a signpost up ahead.....

So 'Galavant' can stay in the dimension of Earth Prime-Time... but on another planet.

'Game Of Thrones' - at least for the purposes of the Toobworld Dynamic - takes place on the continent of Westeros on the planet Mondas. Mondas is Earth's twin (actually "was") and was established first. It is the planet of the Genesis section of the Bible, created by God with the actual story of Adam & Eve. Earth Prime-Time was constructed much later by the Magratheans as a super-computer.

'Galavant' would take place after the events of 'Game Of Thrones', but long before the creation of the Cybermen who transformed the planet's population. And by that time, Castle Black would still be situated at the Wall since it was mentioned in either the third or fourth episode of 'Galavant'. (This is not to say it was still a viable defense against the Wildings and the White Walkers.....)

And during that time, the world of Galavant must have been visited by Sweet the Demon.

If it seems irreconcilable that 'Galavant' and 'Game Of Thrones' should take place on a planet from 'Doctor Who', remember this:

'Breaking Bad' and 'F Troop' both took place on Earth Prime-Time.....

HAPPY NEW YEAR, PUDDING BRAINS!

Here we are with our traditional celebration of all things 'Doctor Who' - as far as the Toobworld Dynamic is concerned.  And it always amazes me that I can find enough material to work with, so that I can post every half-hour all day long!

Last year I finally admitted what my friends already knew - 'Doctor Who' moved to the top of my all-time favorite TV shows, dislodging 'The Prisoner' from the Number One spot. 

Yeah, that's me.......

So sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride!  We've got all day to wallow in the Wibbly-Wobbly!
