On Tuesday night's episode of 'The Mentalist', Agents Cho and Rigsby tracked down the Hollywood drug dealer to a motel apartment - Number 23. "23" is one of "the Numbers" in the sequence made famous on 'Lost'.Another number in that sequence comes into play in the new series to follow 'Lost' on Wednesday nights. Detective Leo Banks of the 2nd Precinct squad known as 'The Unusuals' has a connection to the number "42": his grandfather got killed at the age of 42; his father succumbed to cancer by the age of 42; and now that he's turned 42 himself, Banks is seeing the number manifest itself no where he goes.
And it looks like a psychic who got hauled into "the Box" for interrogation has picked up on this....BCnU!

I cracked up when Detective Banks mentioned the number 42, especially given he is played by Harold Perrineau, who was Michael on Lost!
