YOU SAY "VERRON" AND I SAY "VARON"

The first season of 'The Sarah Jane Adventures' was a short one - five two-part stories plus the New Year's day premiere last January - but there's already an unrecorded adventure in the canon. Sarah Jane mentioned near the beginning of "Whatever Happened To Sarah Jane?" that they hellped a Verron soothsayer get home.

I suppose the spelling of "Verron" is official, as it shows up in the CBBC website for the show. But wouldn't it have been more interesting if it was spelled as "Varon"? As in "of the planet Varos". And that way we could have tied it in to that Sixth Doctor story "Vengeance On Varos".

Well, Il liked the idea anyway. Although I will admit that I've seen "Vengeance On Varos" and all I can remember of it is that Colin's Doctor had to crawl through a parched, over-baked tunnel at one point. And that's about it. (The website "Behind The Sofa" had a freeze-frame of that moment and in his agony, the Doctor resembled Julia Child!)

Just sayin' is all.....
