Are you sure the WGA wants Chuck Connors as a spokesman? As Jay Leno once observed of The Rifleman's immortal opening: "That man is a serious psychopath!"

Based on his pursuit of a career in Hollywood as seen in the fourth 'Gambler' TV movie, I'd say Mark McCain would have joined the WGA had he still been around when it was formed. (1943?) And who could doubt his Paw, Lucas McCain would be standing by his side?

Oh, wait. You're talking about Chuck Connors..... That's the Trueniverse, Ivan. I steer clear of Reality. LOL!
