My sympathies to those around Ms. Murphy who've lost someone so young and talented. She brought a lunatically inspired but authentic note to Luanne (I've met a good number of these gold-hearted, poignantly misdirected young people in my life). To be capable of making you both cackle and root for a character is a tribute to Murphy as well as to Mike Judge.
