I’ve just lately noticed how often commercials
Claim their product will “change everything”
I’ve looked rather closely and haven’t discovered
Such breadth in the changes they bring
Shampoo still basically gets your hair clean
And razors still shave off your beard
And cars, for example, aren’t flying as yet
And for the most part, must be steered
So all of the claims the commercials are making
Just seem to put me in a doze
And all of these changes they’re raving about
Remind me “Plus c’est la meme chose”
