For me, this was the most compelling moment in all of James Michener's 'Centennial', both in the book and the mini-series. Doug McKeon
really held his own against an old acting pro like Brian Keith, as he would show
a few years later when he acted with Henry Fonda, Katherine Hepburn, Jane Fonda,
and Dabney Coleman in "On Golden Pond".......
