I'd also like to propose one other family relation for Lincoln and Martha Goodheart of "The Making Of A Councilman", to a character with no connection to 'The Dick Van Dyke Show'......
The Goodhearts were both very brainy people and it could be that such a trait was passed down to their children. What if they had a daughter, one who would grow up to raise her own family someday - including a very brainy daughter, or even a grand-daughter! - who would move to Pasadena, where she could get her doctorate and continue her studies at CalTech in Microbiology.
I'm making the claim that the grand-daughter (or great grand-daughter) of Lincoln and Martha Goodheart could be Dr. Bernadette Rostenkowski, as see in 'The Big Bang Theory'........
