TOOBWORLD'S WORLD TOOB WEDNESDAY

Toobworld Central has had to deal with interdimensional discrepancies like subway systems, highways, misplaced mountains and out of place palm trees throughout “Telemerica”.  It’s nice to know that in Toobworld, such problems also afflict the rest of that world.

Here we see Carl Anderson and his “sister” Else in the Gare D’Orsay train station in Paris.

However, under the “Goofs” section for this episode in the IMDb:

Carl and Else Anderson are arrested after arriving by train in Paris at the Gare D'Orsay. The Gare D'Orsay was closed in 1939.

This is another good example that Toobworld is NOT the Real World.  The episode takes place in the 1950s and it was filmed in Budapest.  Even if they used the original train station – even if it still existed – the timeline would still throw them off any attempt at veracity. 

But as far as Toobworld is concerned, no matter what the real Gare D’Orsay looked like, this train station is the Gare D’Orsay.
