Here's what Jorge Garcia wrote for Variety about the end of 'Lost'. Fear not - no spoilers.

At 5 a.m. on April 24, I became unemployed.

I just wrapped my six-season run on “Lost.” The job that went above and beyond anything I could have imagined was over.

My last day on “Lost” was also my longest: 20 hours. Without going into details, I can say the shoot was dangerous, physical and wet. But what could be more appropriate? How else could we end this epic show without an epic marathon night of shooting? At the end of it all we all remarked how we expected the end to be more emotional for us, but we were too tired to cry.

I’ll admit I got a little teary with Matthew Fox. I thanked him for everything he taught me, including taking me on his trip to Japan to see Green Day that first summer of shooting. At the time, flying at the last minute to a foreign country was way out of my comfort zone, but then again nothing on “Lost” was ever in my comfort zone.

I stuck around after even after I wrapped to see the martini shot of the entire show. I could feel director Jack Bender’s resistance to call “print” on that last take. In fact I’m pretty sure he asked for one more take to delay the inevitable.

I still don’t think the end of it all has hit me yet. Maybe I’ll feel it when the finale finally airs Sunday. Or maybe it will hit me when I board the plane at Honolulu Airport for the last time as a Hawaiian resident.

I have no clue what my next adventure is going to be, I just know this job is going to be a hard one to follow.

FRANK SAVAGE - YESTERDAY & TODAY

Dan Stark, the Houston police detective who's one of the two main characters in 'The Good Guys', used to have a partner named Frank Savage. But Frank had a nervous breakdown after Dan coerced him into jumping out of a moving vehicle.

Someday Frank Savage may show up in the series, so we can't make too many suppositions about him. But I have to figure he must be close in age to his former partner - nobody older than Dan would take his bleep, or get talked into jumping out of a moving car. As for Dan Stark's age, the common rule in Toobworld is that unless otherwise indicated by the script, the characters are generally the same age as the actors who portray them. So Dan Stark is about 51 years old since Bradley Whitford was born in 1959.

I figure Frank Savage to be within the 1950 - 1960 rangefor birth years. And if that proves to be true, we lost a powerful, albeit still theoretical link based on family trees.

Robert Lansing is THE Frank Savage of Toobworld, an ace fighter pilot during WWII who unfortunately didn't make it home after a mission, as seen in the series '12 O'Clock High'. Therefore, he died too soon to be the father of the former cop Frank Savage.

But the new Frank Savage could be his nephew, son of a younger brother, who was named in his honor.

A BIT OF TEXAS HOLD 'EM CAPTIVE

In the series premiere of 'The Good Guys', we learned that Houston detective Dan Stark made his reputation 25 years before when he and his partner Frank Savage saved the son of the Texas governor from a kidnapping.

Since Toobworld should follow the real world as closely as possible when it comes to public figures, that means the governor had to be Mark Wells White, who served from 1983 to 1987. Former Governor White and his wife have three children, two of them sons. Either one of them could have been the victim in that kidnapping plot.

THE ASPERGER'S PRIME-TIME FAMILY HOUR

In concluding his review of the 'Community' season finale, Alan Sepinwall pointed out something about next year's fall line-up that eluded me:

I'm bummed that Abed will have to compete with Sheldon from "Big Bang Theory" and Brennan from "Bones" in this weird Undiagnosed Asperger's Hour.
I wonder if the CBS suits thought of that when they made their bold move on that hour with the rescheduling of 'Big Bang Theory'? For me, personally, it'll be 'Bones' that will lose as my DVR will be set for the two comedies.
