With every regeneration of the Doctor, more changes occur than just the physical appearance. Changes in personality, quirks, tastes, and most visibly, the Doctor's wardrobe.
During the second week of this past November, the new outfit for the next Doctor, the Thirteenth Incarnation, was unveiled. It was perhaps the most eagerly anticipated costume announcement for the Doctor since for the first time in the show's 50+ year history, the Doctor regenerated into a Gallifreyan woman. And it may prove to be the most controversial since patchwork coat worn by the Sixth Incarnation of the Doctor.
It took me a few minutes to get past its Orkan memory triggers but I like it. I just need to see it in action.
Before that day was over, so many fans had submitted their own visions of the new wardrobe.
