Bronn is a major character in 'Game of Thrones'. He is played by starring cast member Jerome Flynn and débuts in the fourth episode of the first season. Bronn is a skilled and dangerous sellsword working for Tyrion Lannister.

A sellsword [is] a warrior whose service is for hire. Despite his avaricious nature, which is sneered at by more honorable knights, [Bronn] is a skilled and dangerous fighter.

And as of the second season, he has become Commander of the City Watch in King's Landing.
