Meredith is mentioned in one Sayer's novel "Clouds of Witness" and again in the novel "Thrones, Dominations" which was based on an uncompleted manuscript of Sayers. In the latter, Meredith is butler to Lord & Lady Wimsey, although inferior in status to Mervyn.
