And I found this at TV.com:<BR/>~~~<BR/>James Spader (Alan Shore) breaks character when tells William Shatner (Denny Crane): "I've hardly seen you all episode." This isn't the first time an actor on "Boston Legal" has broken character. In episode 9 of the second season, entitled "Gone", Shatner breaks character and tells Spader: "I can act., you know; I won an Emmy." <BR/>~~~<BR/>So maybe this tele-cognizance is contagious?
