What once was lost, now is found… Apollo Bar, the scrumptious chocolate bar developed in the 1960s by M. David Benson, has been enjoyed by generations of consumers. For those who’ve yet to taste Mr. Benson’s bars, your opportunity to “discover what’s inside” awaits. Beginning Wednesday, August 23, free Apollo Bars will be distributed while supplies last in select locations throughout the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Asia.

The Apollo Bar is manufactured and distributed by the Apollo Candy Company, a subsidiary of The Hanso Group.

From August 23 through September, the Apollo Candy Company will distribute free Apollo Bars in cities throughout the U.S., including New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and Chicago. Just to save some of you time, here in NYC they're giving them away today at the Park Avenue Country Club and at ESPN. Tomorrow, from 6 to 10 pm, they'll be giving them away at Central Park Summerstage. On September 6th, you can get one at the ABC Studios in Times Square.....

I'm hoping to eventually score one of the wrappers. My doctor would kill me if I ate the chocolate!

And of course "Not available in Canada".

The collector market will probably insist on the wrapper having the chocolate inside. A box of 36 Reggie Bar wrappers is currently on sale on eBay for with a top bid of $8. A mint unopened Reggie bar has a top bid of $4.
